Dr. Jeff Margolis
Dr. Jeff Margolis holds a Master's Degree from Boston University, a DVM from Tufts University, and has been practicing in CA since 1996.
His interests lie in endocrinology, dermatology and general surgery. Jeff is the owner of OAH, a proud member of the AVMA, CVMA and SCVMA and works with the Mission Viejo Animal Shelter, Grayhound Pets of America and DAWG.
He is a lover of all sports (including avid stand-up paddlesurfer) and of music, and gets out as often as he can to participate in both. He currently lives with his wife Jody, daughter Zoe, son Jake and pets, Shea, Beckett, Ebbet and Fergie.
Jeff recently adopted a new golden retriever puppy to join the family, and makes it his personal goal to ensure all of his patients feel like their pets are part of the family as well. Jeff greatly values all of his clients/patients, and appreciates all of the years of service and opportunities to be a part of your pet's lives. With over 15 years of service to the Orange County Area, he is excited for every new patient!
Dr. Kathleen Kanjer
Dr. Kathleen Kanjer grew up in Orange County and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from UC San Diego. She earned her veterinary degree (DVM) from UC Davis in 2003. She moved to Boston to complete a 13 month rotating medicine and surgery internship at the Angell Animal Medical Center. Since then, she has worked in and around Boston performing Emergency Medicine and General Medicine and Surgery.
Kathleen recently moved back to Orange County to be closer to family. She moved with her husband Steven and their dog Stella and two cats Lipton and Earl Grey. They are looking forward to enjoying the California sunshine year-round exploring the local hiking trails, road biking, kayaking, and running.
Kathleen has a special interest in emergency medicine and procedures and plans to stay current with the latest treatments and techniques. She is a member of the AVMA and MVMA and plans to join the SCVMA to become involved in the local veterinary community. She also plans to participate in volunteer veterinary opportunities here in California.
Kathleen believes that client education and effective communication are the keys to a good relationship with a veterinarian and to being able to provide the best veterinary care for your pets. She looks forward to being able to take care of your pets, who are such important members of the family.
Dr. Andrea Thormahlen
Andrea Thormahlen earned a Bachelors of Science from UC Davis and her Veterinary degree (D.V.M.) from Purdue University. She is a native to Mission Viejo, and is thrilled to be back here doing what she loves.
Andrea has a special interest in dermatology, dentistry and endocrinology. She is a member of SCVMA and CVMA. She is also a credentialed provider of stem cell therapy with Vet-Stem. Stem cell therapy is an innovative way to treat chronic joint diseases, injuries and has a multitude of therapeutic possibilities.
Andrea and her husband, Hays, have a family of 5, with 2 labrador retrievers, K.C. and Doc, and an orange tabby named Duddly. Andrea loves kick-boxing, pilates, reading and cooking for friends and family. Andrea and Hays are often on the trails in Trabuco Canyon with K.C. and Doc.
Andrea has a gentle heart and looks forward to working with your treasured four-legged family members as well as getting to know the whole family.
