5 Star Review previously.... and here is another 5 Star Review.

Normally I see Dr Margolis, which I absolutely love.  I believe he has been out of town, and I had... read more to take my cat in pretty urgently... I noticed he had a very bright red area on his gums all across his top teeth.  I noticed it Friday night, and called Saturday morning.  They were able to get me in within an hour of opening to see Dr Gestine.  While she was checking out Bandit, she was telling me about her cat, I love that she is a cat person.

Turns out Bandit had a cavity that was aggravating his gums, and the tooth had to be removed.  She drew some blood in preparation for surgery and I scheduled the surgery for this past Friday.  I also let her know he was licking his backside a lot, so she checked things out and let me know he was not expressing his anal glands on his own, and they needed to be done.  She took care of that, and warned me that I would hear him yelling, which I did.  She said this is uncommon in cats, but he is going to have to come back every 3 months to have this done, which bums me out - getting him in his carrier and in here is so stressful.

I brought Bandit in first thing Friday morning for his procedure, and asked if they had a guess-timate of what time I could expect to hear from Dr Gestine.  They said around noon.  When my phone rang at 9am, I of course panicked.  She wanted to let me know he was doing well, and that instead of one tooth extraction, he needed four.  She also let me know it was going to be an ongoing problem for him and he would need more extracted at some point in the future.  She called me again around 10am and told me he was awake and did great.  She told me I could pick him up at noon if I absolutely had to, but he had to be watched and was not allowed to jump at all.  I know my cat, and he never listens to me, and hes a cat, so... I decided to pick him up at the normal time, 3pm.

I showed up a little early and waited a bit to be able to take him home, as the office was really busy when I arrived.  I explained Bandit wouldnt keep his bandage on when he got home earlier in the day, so they took his catheter out a little early so he had time to wear the bandage there, and they removed it when I picked him up.

I cannot even express how thankful I am for how understanding Dr Gestine was, and how much her updates meant to me.  I am a major stresser, and I felt so confident that day, and I wasnt worried.  Any time a loved one goes under anesthesia there are risks involved, and its worrisome.  She made me feel so calm and I truly appreciate that more than I can ever put into words.

Unfortunately, Bandit came home with a lot of medications... and its been super challenging... I dont understand why medicine manufacturers make any type of liquid medicine for felines, but anyway... we are getting through it.

Dr Gestine called Friday night to check in and the doctor working Saturday called to check in also.  I truly am SO very thankful for this animal hospital, as I seem to be here every few months with Bandit.  They do an AMAZING job.

  I used to go to a different vet, but had to find a new one since my vet only does emergency procedures during Covid. I made an appointment to get... read more first shots for my kitten. Staff was friendly, it was not too long of a wait to check in and for them to take in my kitten. Dr Gestine is the one who helped, she administered the shots and suggested blood work for my kitten. Luckily, my kitten's results were great and he is a healthy boy. Dr Gestine is incredibly sweet and kind. This place is definitely pricey, however, it was worth it in my opinion. My usual vet takes forever to check in and do the needed procedures because her is more affordable, but the wait is longer, and as we know, pets are not the most patient especially if it is hot or cold outside.

I will be switching to this place as my main vet from now on. Very grateful for their work!

I've been taking my kids here for about 16 years.  I was a client even before Jeff Margolis bought this hospital.  First of... read more all, Dr. Margolis is the bomb!!!  He has stood by my family through the years during happy and sad times.  He is an amazing clinician.  He never says, "I don't know", he's super smart and does his research even when he doesn't have the answer. Then he finds the answer. He's compassionate and is always there for us.  We have a home with senior rescues so it's always something.

We have known Dr. Gestine since she was a kiddo answering the phones up front.  She's also compassionate and very smart.  I'm deathly afraid Margolis will retire one day but I know my kids are in good hands with her too.

Office staff is great!  I know that they care about our kids and treat them kindly.
